GBRf 2018

Out of the Ordinary

Day N

Friday 21st September 2018 (overnight)

Day N is the overnight leg from London which will depart from the former International platforms at London Waterloo. We set off via Kensington Olympia, then down the West Coast Main Line with a Class 92 via Crewe and Preston to Blackpool North, the first visit of an AC locomotive to this terminus.

We'll reverse at Blackpool in the small hours, and the two Class 73/1s still on the rear from Day Two will haul us back to Preston. From here the Class 92 is back in charge for the journey north along the West Coast Main Line to Motherwell.
